Starting June 15, 2013, Cagayan De Oro Airport which was previously located at Lumbia has now been transferred to Laguindingan Airport (coordinates 8.606439,124.458611). Still part of the Misamis Oriental however it is already bordering Lanao Del Norte. It is about 56.6 kilometers east of Iligan City of Lanao Del Norte and about 32.7 kilometers west of Cagayan De Oro City proper.
